"Let's Find Out" Videos
With Lesson Plans and Links

This for a "Let's Find Out" video shows a man and 2 dogs, Cog and Cosmo, wearing hardhats at the wastewater plant.
This brand-new “claymation” video is now available for people of all ages who want a playful but scientific explanation of what happens to all the water that’s sent down the drain. Produced by Water Authority Education Coordinator Jeff Tuttle in partnership with his predecessor, Sharon Sivinski, the film takes viewers on a colorful journey through the wastewater treatment process. It mixes quirky animation with real science to highlight the essential work of how sewer water is cleaned. It’s a perfect activity for classrooms, family movie nights, or anyone who’s just plain curious!”
This photo of a "Let's Find Out" video shows a man and 2 dogs, Cog and Cosmo, who are out exploring a cottonwood forest.
This video is about a project in 2025 led by Ann Hunkins who, along with a group of volunteers, set about to estimate how many badgers live in the bosque, our cottonwood forest that runs through the center of Albuquerque. Yes! There are badgers in the middle of Albuquerque. They're very shy, so you probably won't be lucky enough to ever see one unless you watch this video. The project's game camera footage is book-ended by claymation characters who learn about who digs bosque  burrows. This is a great video to watch before taking fourth-graders on the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility fourth-grade field trip to the river. Or it's great for anyone, any age, who wants to learn more our bosque burrows.
